OBITUARY.

MRS. TILLIE BUSH.

The many friends of Mrs. Tillie Bush, wife of David Bush, heard with sorrow the tidings of her death which occurred at her home at Siloam, Ky., July 10, 1894. She was 36 years 9 months and 20 days old.

She had been a member of the Christian church for several years and died with the sweet assurance of gaining a home in heaven.

Truly her sufferings during the last few weeks of her life were hard to bear, but she bore them all with Christian fortitude.

She left all who were so fortunate as to know her, the priceless legacy of a pure and spotless life, which will rest as a heavenly benediction on the entire community in which she lived.

She left a mother one brother and sister and a kind and affectionate husband to mourn their loss.

She is not lost but gone before to share the unspeakable joys of the pure and the blest. One less jewel on earth, but another gem in heaven.

Asleep in Jesus, blessed sleep,
From which none ever wakes to weep;
A calm and undisturbed repose
Unbroken be the last of foes.

Asleep in Jesus peaceful rest,
Whose waking is supremely blest
No fear, no woe shall dim that hour
