Uriah Wilbur is my great grandfather on my father's side and it was said of him that he had a soft heart and literally gave a man the coat off his back when he saw the old man had none to keep him warm. He was a Mason affiliated with Caladonia Lodge #96 in McKenzie, Tennessee. Some of his pottery (110 years old now) resides in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in McKenzie, Tennessee. He died doing what he loved. My great grandmother always cherished his memory and growing up I heard many stories about Uriah and my father (whom she raised).
