GIRL KILLS HERSELF WHEN PARENTS QUARREL
DES MOINES, Ia., Aug. 8---Following a quarrel between her stepfather, W. A. Montgomery, and his wife, her mother, at Harves today, Helen Mattox, 13 years of age, killed herself. She locked herself in a bedroom, knelt down in front of a mirror and pulled the trigger of a rifle. Mrs. Montgomery when told of her daughter's death, tried to commit suicide. Physicians say the shock caused her to lose her mind.
